We started the day out discussing elements of a fairy tale, listened to a read-aloud version of The Three Little Pigs, and then apply fairy tale elements to pen our version of The Three Little Pigs during Writer's Workshop!

For math today we related the time shown on the analog clock to the time on a digital clock. We focused on reading the hour hand of an analog clock, especially when it is in between two numbers.
We also prepped folders via Google Drive to store our informational writing! We were going to start typing today, but setting up these folders on Drive took longer than usual, as we're still trying to get the hang of steps and procedures to utilizing this wonderful online storage service!!

Today in math we reinforced the fours multiplication facts by practicing the double double strategy!

Tomorrow, we're going to focus on using C.U.B.E.S. to evaluate and solve word problems dealing with multiplication!
Writer's Workshop
During our writer's workshop session, we focused on a formative assessment wherein we were given 45 minutes to plan, draft, revise, and edit a narrative that focuses on a small moment in our lives!
For reading today, we continued our close reading of Matilda, and utilized signposts and to make inferences!
