Writing
We have been going through the writing process for penning an opinion piece, starting with research and note-taking, then planning and forming our opinion with reasons and elaborations, and then we wrote, wrote, wrote! We have now started the revision and editing process!
Math
This week, we've been applying our math practices in order to understand the concept of decimal fractions!
This week, we've been reading and analyzing historical fiction texts for facts and info that pertains to the Gold Rush! With the historical fiction text, we've also have been working on making inferences, making sure that we're using details from the text to support and explain our inference! On top of that, we've been using other resources to learn about different perspectives during the Gold Rush!
