This is what we've been up to this week...
Reader's Workshop
Determined the meaning of the poem by reading the poem, and then referring to charts to help us infer. We combined text evidence from the poem along with our own personal experiences to record super-boss explanations that's akin to PHD dissertations!
Writer's Workshop
We've been working on our persuasive writing strategies this week, including trying to add a mini-story as a way to persuade others of our reasons to our thesis!
Math
We've been working on adding and subtracting fractions, placing an emphasis on composing whole and mixed numbers when there are improper fractions!
And this week, we completed our non-fiction research projects, and a few of us were able to present!
