Here's what we've been up to the past couple of days!
We finally were able to get outside and partake in a little bit of PE!
During Reader's Workshop, we've been utilizing the Sketch and Label strategy to better comprehend the non-fiction texts that we're reading!
We've been using tape diagrams and looking for keywords in the word problems we're being asked to solve to help us determine which operation to use!
Of course, recesses is always on the docket!
We also had some time to answer comprehension questions on the texts we're reading!
Turning and Talking is a skill we use in the class to share our thoughts and opinions!
Today, we launched our research project on wildfires! We got into collaborative groups, scanned over some resources, and brainstormed possible subtopics on wildfires that we could research on!
