We discussed the different methods of solving a word problem involving multiplication. We discussed the strategy of partial products, as well as a few other strategies!
We've also been practicing how to sue a protractor to determine the degrees of various angles of a shape; we discussed the attributes of three types of angles: the acute, the right, and the obtuse angle. We're still practicing how to be precise when utilizing the protractor!
We had a presentation of the holiday known as Hanukah, and practiced summarizing what we learned by determining the text structure and outlining the presentation!
We continued to practice summarizing by presenting a synthesis of the topic of our research and presenting it to others!
We also had time to teach our second-grade buddies two-square and and wall ball rules!
And we spent time working on social skills with our even younger buddies!
And that's the week so far folks! Cheers, and have a good one!
