Morning Folks!
Let's recap what E-8 was working on yesterday!
Reading
We practiced putting in more effort when explaining our signposts, inferences, and the clues/evidence that support our inferences. We're continuing to practice explaining how/why our clues support our inferences!
Writing
We worked on revising one of our subtopic/body paragraphs using the who, what, when, where, why, how revision strategy! We're using this strategy to fill in informational gaps in our written paragraphs!
Math
We completed part of an assessment that dealt with multiplying more than two numbers, and using CUBES to set up an equation to solve a word problem!
What's on the docket for today? Well, were going to continue to hone our inference-making skills while reading by using Notice & Note: Signposts! We're going to hone in on explaining how our evidence supports our inference! We're also going to finish up our math assessment, and hopefully have time to discuss more on solving problems dealing with area! For writing, we will continue to revise our writing! Today, we'll be discussing the use of linking words/phrases to make our paragraphs more clarified and cohesive! That about does it folks! Cheers, and have an excellent Thursday!
